2020 Toronto Blue Jays (est 2020)
New OOTP equals new Blue Jays Dynasty!
There may be no baseball (or other, more important things), but there is still OOTP.

The Blue Jays signed Denard Span to a minor league deal.
First there is the World Baseball Classic. Canada beat the Dominican Republic 2-0 behind a great pitching performance by Elijah Swinson from Oshawa, ON. They then lost 5-3 to the USA. Walter Starrett from Abbotsford, BC walked three times and came around to score twice as Canada beat Colombia 3-2 to finish the group stage 2-1, behind only the US, to move on to the next stage. The Dominican being eliminated was not the only surprise as Japan is also not moving on. ```````````````````````````````

Thank you for doing this, I’m intrigued to see how your save compares to mine. In my beta test sim I did one season and the jays totally underperformed, gonna start my long term jays save tomorrow.

Cool, but be aware that our teams will diverge quite a lot.
I tend to over-tinker.

We had a lot of good today! Lourdes Gurriel had been struggling a bit and he broke out with a 2 for 4 day, including a big home run as the Jays beat the Yankees 5-2! Bo Bichette also homered for Toronto. However, there was also bad. Shun Yamaguchi left the game with a strained oblique and it looks like he is heading to the IL for the next two weeks. WP - Trent Thornton (1-0) Save - Ken Giles (1) LP - Jonathan Loaisiga (1-1) Record - 4-5

Both Hyun-jin Ryu and T.J. Zeuch were battered around by the Phillies batters while the Blue Jays were kept hitless until the 7th. The Toronto bats came alive then, but it was far too late as they fell 15-7 in their first interleague game. Travis Shaw and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. both homered for the Jays. WP - Aaron Nola (2-1) LP - Hyun-jin Ryu (0-1) Record - 4-7
