New 27th Man Rule

I've just reached a doubleheader game can someone explain how to call up the 27th player for it i tried and it just said Active Roster is full

This isn’t in OOTP. Too hard to code for a relatively rare event.

Change the player limit to 27 then change it back after the games are over.

That works, in theory, but brings with it a litany of potential problems. There's no guarantee the 27th man would be optioned back to the minors. Remember also: you would be changing it, temporarily, for the entire league.

I play in commish mode and only play a hand full of games per game day so it wouldn't effect me plus I play with reserves and could manually add anyone to the roster.

The rest of the league wouldn't be playing with 27 players if you only play the double header game and then change it back to 26 player afterwards(at least that's how I play the games).

However since I schedule double headers on a daily basis I don't add the 27th player and adjust the roster manually when need be.

That makes sense, but it involves a lot of manual processes. I'm all for replicating MLB rules, but I also look at the cost-benefit. It would take far too much time to worry about one game. That's just my two cents. "It's your game. Play it your way."
