Crash, crash, crash...
It's taken 21 years of faithful purchases, but OOTP has finally put out a version that crashes religiously. Very disappointing.

Mine seems to crash once i manually save a game and try to start another game. I'm only 3 games in right now but seems to happen when i try to replicate it over and over. Very interesting.

My game has been freezing/crashing while playing out games about 10% of the time. I've turned on the logging option, so hopefully I can catch something good.

Yup. Ive tried everything I can think of to stop it from crashing but nothing I am doing is fixing it. Every few games if I am just playing OOTP once I start browsing or doing anything other than playing it will usually be a few minutes before a not responding crash happens.

FWIW I've had no CTDs thus far, 5 games into my 2020 season and I played out every spring training game as well. If your PC has limited RAM, it might not be a good idea to be running a web browser at the same time, especially Chrome, which is memory hungry. Just a thought. |

I could try a different browser that is a good idea. It had never been an issue with any other versions so... Id imagine its something that Markus will patch up shortly. And to respond to your first question. I played out like 140+ games(more like 150 if we include the crashing) since the beta release being on isolation. Every once in awhile I need to check on the real world of isolation Thanks for the response. Last edited by jbergey22; 03-28-2020 at 09:36 PM. |

I've had exactly 1 CTD since the very first beta version. If you're getting crashes, it could be more about your system and what you're doing in the background than the game itself

Ya...mine freezes while playing out games. Then I have to CTD and restart the game. It's doing real weird things. Also the AI is making substitutions in game even though I have all AI movements turned off. If it's not one thing it's another.
