design or bug in the staff search shorlist

This topic came up in the forum and has me wondering if this isn't just something that was missed? On the staff shortlist "Player Dev" and "Player Inf" only show the personnel's ability if they are either a MLB coach or unemployed. They will not show for your MiL personnel. Once you hire these guys there is no way to see this info unless you open each of their manager cards. Yet if they are unemployed or on your MLB team you can see these attributes.
