moving teams

When playing custum leagues I would like the option of teams changing cities on there own you set conditions for the team moving like if attendance is lower then certain percentage or attendance figure

I'm going to jump in here and ask if this is a fictional team or a historic one? If its historic, then I am sure its doable, as in the baseball game this is done, but its current;y not in the game as of today.

However, if you are playing a fictional league, and you are running the team, then I would think its up to you as the "owner" to move the club at your discretion. Part of the immersion is researching why and either fixing it, or moving to another city to start fresh.

Just my 2 cents.

It's good to jump in, but you're incorrect.

In Historic, teams simply move as they do in real life. You can't alter reality (although it's something we're looking at doing).

Short answer for the others: No. We don't have an evolving world feature, but again, something we're looking at for the future. You can manually move and contract teams now though.

A fictional league or this for a compromise when you go to edit a team have the option to move the team and the computer would then random select some possible cities . I know you change cities on your own but the thing I like about fictional custom leagues is that random teams that you start playing the league .

My bad! I guess I was thinking that in the historical baseball game, teams will move on their own. In either fictional or non-fictional, you can manually move the teams, right?

You can in non-fictional, but they'll move right back start of every season.

Just to clarify. In FHM 5 you can move a team in all 3 modes:

1. In Modern and Fictional: the team will not be moved back, it stays wherever it was put.

2. In Historical: Since all moves/expansions are done automatically, the moved team will go back wherever it was in the new year (on July 1st).
