Game Crashes On Startup(Steam Version)

The game crashes during the startup of the game att 33%. I have tried to reinstall the game twice and restart my computer, but that has not worked.

What computer do you have? Especially the resolution of your monitor?

Its a Laptop(Lenovo Thinkpad T420) and it has a resolution of 1366x768

If I understand it right, you can´t even get to the startscreen, right?

Any chance this has a Intel HD 3000 graphic chip?

Do you have the Steam version or eSellerate? In both cases, could you please start the game with the start parameter "tracemode" (without the "") and post the trace file?

I got the same problem...Steam Download - game crashes at startup before startscreen...

1600x900 and Intel HD3000... Fujitsu Lifebook E781

I have an intel hd 2000 graphics card and the game also crashes at the same spot.

Could you guys test the following:

Open Steam client -> Library
Right click on Franchise Hockey Manager 3
Click on "Properties" at the bottom of the menu
Open the General tab if it's not already open
Click on "Set Launch Options..."
Enter or paste this: nofacegen
Hit Ok
Start game

Let me know if it helps.

Top! Sag bescheid, wenn es weitere Probleme gibt. Und btw, was für ein Feiertag? Als Selbständiger geht sowas ja gerne an einem verloren aber in diesem Fall liegt es wohl am hohen Norden vermute ich.

Wow it worked. I'm just wondering if we lose out on any features because of "nofacegen"? Or what does nofacegen do?

It disables FaceGen.

At the moment I don´t see it possible because the Intel HD 3000 is no longer supported by Intel and the last build is not compatible with our framework. Maybe that changes in the future but right now I would not bet on it.

FaceGen is disabled (which includes the jerseys).
