Request for 40 team 8 division League

Hello,after 10 years of OOTP a humble schedule request which is as follows
40 teams,2 sub leagues divided into 4 divisions of 5 teams each,playing 132 games,72 within their own division(18 games against each team) and 60 games outside the division(6 games against each of the other 15 teams).No intereague.Hope this is not too tricky to do.

6 games against all 15 interdivision opponents would be 90 games instead of 60, which would push the overall total to 162.

So 162 is fine if you want that.

If it is the 132 you want and maintaining the 18 per division opponent... It could be 3 or 6 games against the other 15 team in a way to add to 60 - e.g., 6 against the 5 in one division and 3 against the 5 in the other two divisions. In that case there could be variations made to cycle through which division is played more from year-to-year.

The five teams per division can be a bit tricky (odd numbers in schedules make things tougher to balance). But if you can clarify what you want, I think it should be doable.

Speaking of what you want, a few other details... All-Star Game? When would you want the season to begin - about start of April like MLB? Or maybe later if it is 132 games.

Yikes! as you can see my maths isn't the greatest!
Yea what I meant was 4 games against the 15 out of division opponents to make 60 +72=132.If the 162 schedule is easier then I would be happy with that.The 132 season could start 1st May with an all star game at the halfway stage.Anyhow thanks in advance if you tackle this one gmo!

That makes sense - I should have considered that possibility. I will call the "6" instead of "4" just a typo.

I will post a 132 game schedule. I did work on 162 since that seems like something that might be of general interest, so let me know if at some point you would want that.
