Is another patch coming?

I'm having nothing but problems with the game crashing. I've done full deletes of the game and files and have started new leagues with each version patch release and always end up with constant crashes. I've updated my computer and am running Windows 7, is there another patch in the works?

Doesn't look like it for Marcus did mention they be concentrating on new OOTP15 now

I would suggest using every method available to grab data that might help identify the problem and making bug reports. The more aggressive and complete you are about tracking and gathering that data, the more likely you might get help. If you punt to them, when they have already turned their efforts to the new version, it would seem unlikely.

It seems to me that if the patch is causing enough problems that are being reported that the team would put something out there in the near future to fix it. I am sure if the patch is that faulty they wouldn't leave the game that way for an entire year.

Actually, now you guys have ME wondering. I have been skipping that patch due to some reported problems, and those links I provided indicated to me that MH had agreed to patch the patch.

Yet, could it be that they quietly substituted the patched patch and slightly changed the version number? I lost track of what I was looking at in terms of version number - can anyone else confirm what I think is the situation . . . Is another patch coming or is the one in the sticky at the top of this board it for 14?

The beta team (such as it is) is testing the next patch.

Any word of adding "Skip This Pick" to the free Agent Draft? Fixing the fact that using a logo for caps and jerseys dont go into the game in 14 in existing leagues. I have already put both of these in the Bug Report Thread. Not sure if the last one only affects my game.

As far as I know, Markus has been keeping track of the Bug Report Thread. He handles these items himself, without entering them into the bug report database. On the one hand, this saves time. On the other hand, the rest of us do not know the status of each reported item.

I hope so with the latest patch top notch players are remaining on the free agent list all season long. This is I think an old problem that has come back.

Here's the official word: Yes, we're working on another patch. It will be a maintenance update. I don't know any specifics beyond that.

BCStone: Have you filed a tech support ticket?

Try doing a database purge. Go to Game then Database Info. Click the button in the lower right and then click Purge Database and follow the instructions. It may take a while to do this so take a break for an hour or so.
