Schedule Help?

I'm in a league with 24 teams (12 teams per conference, 3 divisions per conference). The 3 division winners and a wildcard from each conference make the playoffs.

We need a schedule that the season starts on a Monday (I know...) with series that start on Mondays and end on Sundays (2 series per week) with a balanced schedule against the conference teams...We had this last season and then they changed the schedule to something that starts on Monday and now the schedule is completely unbalanced.

Is the solution to set a start date and then mostly 3 game series? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

This is essentially what we are looking for:

1. 14 games vs division opponents. Two 4 game series, two 3 game series. Split home and away.

2. 12 games vs non-division conference opponents. Four 3 game series. Split home and away.

3. 6 games vs rotating interleague division. Two 3 game series. Split home and away.

I don't know how to begin making new series to always start on Monday, rather than over a weekend, or if that's even really a capability without manually editing.

To start on Monday, set start_day_of_week to 2.

This one's relatively easy to schedule; I'll handle it myself if no one else wants to give it a go.

I appreciate the help. I'm not the technical guy in the league, I'm more of the "find a solution guy" prior to the "technical guy" getting involved...

I appreciate your help.

I'm thinking that because this is an online league, interleague should be 3 games vs. 8 opponents, not 6 games vs. 4 opponents. That balances the schedule better.

Also, obligatory squeeze week warning: there are 52 series but only 51 half-weeks. I'll do what the real 2000 schedule did and squeeze in an extra series right after the break.
