PP Time On Ice
Power play time on ice is completely broken.
As GM of the Leafs, I want two PP units that play approximately equal time, like the Leafs have in real life. My first unit is... Komarov - Matthews - Brown Gardiner - Nylander ...and my second unit is: van Riemsdyk - Bozak - Marner Kadri - Rielly Now, I have the slider set to 1% of ice time to the 1st unit, and 99% to the second unit. Theoretically, the Jvr, Bozak, Marner, etc. line should receive 99 of every 100 minutes of PP time. Instead, over the course of the pre-season, I have found this. Komarov - 3:35 per game Matthews - 4:29 per game Brown - 3:51 per game Gardiner - 4:32 per game Nylander - 3:03 per game van Riemsdyk - 1:53 per game Bozak - 1:27 per game Marner - 1:45 per game Kadri - 1:10 per game Rielly - 1:47 per game I don't get how that makes any sense, and I would really appreciate if you looked into fixing it. |

Two things that happen here:
1. The game will (when the shift_fitness is high enough) force the PP1 line to start the PP (it assumes the PP1 line to be the top line). 2. The % you set is not used to determine the actual ice time (in your example the PP2 will not play 99% of the 2 minutes) but instead the % that the line is used when determining the line that goes to the ice on a line change (with the above having priority). I agree that the system is not perfect (for PP/SH lines) and we will see to tweak it for FHM 4.
