Few newbie questions

#1 - When generating a fictional league how does it decide what region the players come from? For example could you make a league with all Japanese or no Japanese players?

#2 - Other than randomizing a new face for a player is there any way to edit it and create your own?

#3 - How "off" can the scouting reports be with regard to a player's skill set? (for example on a 1-20 point scale would the scouting report generally be within a point or two of actual?

1. The short answer is "yes" to both - you can have a league with players from just one country, and you can exclude countries.

2. The in-game editor allows you to modify things like hair/eye color, beard style and skin color but not facial structure. You'd need a third-party tool for that. Check out the mods sub-forum and the Player Images sub-sub-forum for more info.

3. You can actually select how accurate you want the scouting reports to be. They can be 100% accurate, a total crapshoot, or somewhere in between. You can also choose what scale you want to use (1-10, 1-20, 1-100, or the one used in professional baseball, 20-80)

I'm not at my computer right now so I can't post screenshots on where to find all these settings in-game. Maybe someone else will soon. But rest assured that you can do what you want to be able to do.
