Since this thread is now relevant again, I should mention I made 50 years once in OOTP9, but haven't attempted manager only in 16 yet.

Wow. Currently stuck in manager mode and wondering how the bell do I get out? I do not want to handle depth chart in manager mode, would you just recommend to play out every game or just SIM through and hope to get lucky?

I've been managing the Chicago Black Socks for 104 straight years and counting. I'm 135 years old, 99 playoff appearances, 16 championships, manager of the year 36 times, and a lifetime record of 10,279-6,576 for a 610%.
