You can put it in the quickstart folder for modern leagues, there are instructions at the bottom of the manual's modding/customization page: Out of the Park Developments Online Manuals

Not an option yet for fictional or historical, but we want to find a better solution than having to drop them into the save file each time.

There should be an OK button at the bottom of the screen that'll take you to the manager setup page - if it's cut off, you may need to switch to a lower resolution.

Cool, I haven't started a league using a quickstart, just the normal new league feature.

Playing on a macbook whether in profile or edit mode Personal Details is cut off and you can't scroll within that field. Under edit mode and contract status most of "no trade clause" is showing, if there is anything underneath I cant see it.

Yeah, it is cut off, what resolution should I put it on? Also, how do I change the resolution? Sorry for the questions, new to the game

Quickstarts - What is the difference between Majors - Majors2014?

Also, when starting a new game, if you choose "quickstart" from the opening menu, the window that opens asks you to select a quickstart, but none appear in the window and there doesn't seem to be a way to navigate to the ones that come with the game.

The Rules link should be always usable, the Rules tab under League Edit is only active at the start of a new season (July 1st).

So I have a problem, during game sims I cant end them because the end sim button is cut off in the game window.

You'll need to go down to a slightly smaller resolution (or if you're at the smallest one, into fullscreen mode.) The interface will resize to fit.

I do believe you need to switch to "full screen" mode in the preferences menu from main screen, as you don't have a good enough resolution to contain the whole screen on windowed mode.

I'll let JeffR handle the nitty gritty details. I know not every single player that every laced up the skates is in there, but... all the major players are for sure. As I said, Jeff is the historical guru, so I'll let him (or one of the beta testers) provide you with more detail.

The resolution is changed in the Preferences menu from the Main Screen.

You should likely switch to Full Screen mode (and then exit the game and restart for it to take effect).

I am curious about how some of the attributes interact. If I wanted to create a forward with a powerful but inaccurate shot, do I just dial up shooting range and dial down shooting accuracy? Or are there other levers I can pull?

The description of shooting range makes it seem more like an extension of the accuracy attribute.

The game looks very slick. One issue I noticed is that in historical certain special characters (ie, the "č" in Martin Ručinskı) show up as question marks.
