Assistant Creates Lines

Need a way to isolate changes in Forward and Defense, when asking Assistant for lines. Basically need an "ask assistant for [all/offense/defense] lines." Probably also Powerplay, etc.

Example: I've made specific Forward lines, which my assistant does not use if I ask for their lines. A defense player gets injured, and I need to replace him in the lineup; I'd like to just have the Assistant do the "d" lines, but leave my Forward lines alone.

I was actually thinking the exact same thing. Really annoying to have an injury happen mid game because it takes way too long to re-adjust everything just because you need to adjust 1 or 2 things..

FWIW, another possible way to address it would be to allow you to lock players in place and only have the assistant adjust slots that are not locked.

Yep, I had the same thought when I saw the Topic Title.

Here's my 'flow' when I'm setting up a team. I pick a position, lets say Defense. I get any roster changes done, then I go to look at what I've got and set up my pairings and roles. Sometimes this points out that I need to set my roster a little different than my first guess, so I do want to get the Strategy for just that group of positions just following my roster choices. Then I move on to C and then LW, RW.

So, as it is now, I often end up redoing this, as I use the Assistant assist for the D, then change it, then realize later I want the Assistant to setup the forwards which of course wipes out the custom changes I've made to the D, so I do those changes a second time.

Since I tend to go position by position, yes, being able either have the Assistant set only a group of positions, or a "lock" option would be nice and save some time

Along the same line as locking players, I found myself wanting to lock the time of shift part. I was fine with the lines the asst created but I hated how they allocate shift time. It would be nice if I could lock that in, then press the ask asst.
