Two questions

1) If you start the game with say 1910 Financials in a Fictional League, will the game evolve causing price changes or will they always stay the same?

2) Can the league reputation change? Like could MLBs reputation go down and another lower-level league go up? This is more so because I love turning on trading between leagues to increase the insanity and randomness of the game world.

1. Yes, provided you enable

"Automatically adjust league strategy when advancing to next season"

"Import adjusted financial settings each year"

These options can be found in league setup, "Options" tab.

2. You would have to adjust those manually. Easy enough to do though, also in league setup on the "Leagues & Teams" tab.

I believe I found those under the "Historical" tab. One is "Automatically adjust league strategy" and the other is "Import adjusted financial settings after each year".

Doesn't "Automatically adjust league strategy" just import the historical strategy, like tune down hitting for the dead-ball era? And wouldn't "Import adjusted financial settings..." just go along with the games built-in Financials for the following season?

What I'm wondering, if I wasn't clear, would the game evolve on it's own. So if I set the financials to 1910, would it randomly evolve by itself and not just follow the Historical game numbers.

Randomly no.

Either will Go historically or will stay with the current financials if the box is unchecked.

Yes, it's under the "Historical" tab when playing an historical setting, "Options" tab when not. Sorry for the confusion

If you want 1911 financial settings when 1911 rolls around, then check that box.

The strategy box will control your stats more or less, so you won't get a 50 HR hitter in 1904 but it will be possible from about 1920 onward. By control stats, I mean the modifiers will be adjusted to the correct era so the stats produced by the league will be realistic to the era being played.
