Drafting real players in historical leagues

Hi everyone,

I took the 1990 league and added new teams to make it into a four division, 40 team competition. To help populate the new teams with more real players I moved the draft date forward to February - in the first draft I got the real players (Mo Vaughn etc..) but the second was all fictional players.

Does anyone know if moving the draft date or adding the new teams is going to mean I never get the historical rookies? I have "Feeder League + Additional Players" turned on in the league options. I like to play every game out so I'd rather not waste my time going through a second season if I've done something that's going to cause 1991- rookies not to appear as time goes on.

Thanks!

Make sure "Import Historical Players" is checked.

Yep, I've had that checked on right from the start.

Have moved the 1991 draft back into November to see if that helps things.

It might.

If you end up with a scenario where you have two drafts in the same season (e.g. initial draft in Jan and a rookie draft in March) the first draft pulls all the players in the DB. Thus the 2nd draft has no players, so it creates them.
