Can't Start Game
I just updated my video drivers and now I can't start FHM5. It copies files ok, but when it goes to set up, it gets to 33% and crashes. I've tried removing my save files, tried running as an Admin, and still nothing.
Sometimes it will tell me that the steam client has to be rrunning, even though it is running. |

First thing I would try is verifying in Steam that the game files are OK - right-click on FHM5 in your library, select Properties, then go to the Local Files tab and select "Verify Integrity of Game Files." If that doesn't do it, check your desktop scaling settings and make sure they're not at 100% - if the driver update changed them, it may have left the effective desktop size too small for the game.

Files are all verified.
You say scaling settings SHOULDN'T be at 100%? I scaled it up, as well as tried a different screen resolution. Still not launching. |

If you go to the folder that containts the actual fhm5.exe file and run it from there (right click-run as administrator), does that make any difference? I'm trying to rule out a Steam issue or something with Windows User Account Control. |

I solved it by restoring to before I reinstalled the driver. Then installed the new driver over top that. Looks like thier UNinstaller removed something FHM needed.
Been having a few problems with this new card and games. |
