Realistic league settings?

When I'm trying to play at a realistic level in the MLB, should I turn on all the leagues including the Japanese leagues, WBC, etc.?

turn off created versions of what you enable. international FA, for example, don't need to be created anymore.

for such a small portion of the league, you may want to consider how much slower the sim will run (-but, not playing a game) and how many GB's it's eating up on your HDD or SSD. few players a year out of ~900? (more than 25/tm will play in a year) if oyu have a few days on your calendar you notice some heavy processing, thos particular days will either become more frequent or even longer as more leagues go throgh various processes -- like end of season stuff, drafting, etc.

not trying to convince you of either choice. by the way i frame it you can guess that i keep them off. i sim as opposed to play each game, so it's a big difference for me.

For maximum realism, you probably want everything, but depending on your hardware it may get irritating. A modern desktop i5 or better can handle it without worry though IMHO.

For "reasonable" realism via the posting system players and your main international candidates having career histories to go though, I'd go MLB, Indy, Japan, Korea, and pick your choice of the Cuban or Mexican league.
