UK Leagues - any feedback?

Anybody out there? Any feedback on the UK leagues?

I know and apologies the rosters aren't 100% but that is getting fixed today for the next update.

I'm loving the jersey set for the league so many thanks for that!

I follow the Guildford Flames, see them once or twice a month. I just tried to start a game as them but apparently I have "too many foreign players on my active roster". I can't send any of the foreign lads down to the U20 side as they are all too old for me to do so, whilst buying out their contracts is too expensive for my budget. So at this point I can't advance the game further

I think this is caused by the fact that whilst the EPIHL rules say only 4 dressed foreign players per team, a lot of teams actually carry 5 or 6 for injury cover, general rotation etc. Can FHM2 distinguish between dressed and scratched foreign players in league rules, as if not this will probably be a consistent problem for EPIHL teams?

Interesting one. I understand about the rules, maybe some players don't have the dual nationality set or its set the wrong way and it's being counted properly (CAN/UK) Regarding how the rule works we'd need Sebastian to respond as he writes the code!

I will check the rosters and see if the players set properly.

I have yet to see a UK hockey game..seen KHL, EBEL, DEL , Swiss and Finland a few times but not UK (sad) I wan't to see what their style is like.

I can't check the game yet (waiting for my Steam key), but IRL Guildford only have four imports on their roster.

brent_dog - Which players is the game listing as imports on the team? The only players regarded as imports should be Eriksson, Kralj, Kristoffersson and Piatak. Lundin and McKinney should not be regarded as imports (i.e. they should have England as their primary nationality).

I now have my Steam key and the game installed (thanks Jeff!). The reason for the issue is two-fold: (1) McKinney is incorrectly listed as an import (most likely my fault - sorry!) and (2) the rosters are out of date (they're still 2014/15 except that Eriksson is on the roster).

The following changes need to be made to the DB in order to fix the import issue:

- McKinney: Switch his nationalities around so that English is his primary nationality.
- Kvetan: Retire
- Kutny: Move to Telford (he is on a short-term contract whilst Silverthorn is injured)
- Tvrdon: Make a UFA
- Kohut: Make a UFA

The above are just the changes needed to fix the issue with being over the import limit. The EPL researcher (if there is one) will also need to generally update the Flames' roster (there's no point me listing all the changes here; just check Elite Prospects instead as they're fully up to date).

P.s. It looks like all of the EPL rosters are out of date. Hull currently only have one contracted player.

Thanks for the heads up. We did get a new researcher on board to cover the EPL but haven't heard from them If they don't get in touch then I'll up date for when the next editor is released.
