German heavyweight amateur champion, 1962. TKO'd by Piero del Papa in November 1970 EBU light heavyweight title bout. TKO'd Peter Weiland two months later for German heavyweight title.

Two Australian featherweights
Good local fighters, both. Neither fought outside of Australia, although both seemed to be main-event fighters in Melbourne.
Trevor King lost only once in 52 career bouts with 27 knockouts. Born 1930. Fought from 1946 to 1960. Barry Hatcher lost to King, but compiled a record of 29-6-1 (11). Also born 1930. Fought from 1950 to 1959.

Mariano Garcia
Another Spanish flyweight. With a very odd career. Born 1945. Fought from 1969 through 1985. Record: 30-29-3 (8).
Spanish flyweight champion, 1972-1974 and 1976. Lost in EBU flyweight title bouts to Fritz Chervet in October 1972 and to Franco Udella in May 1978. After his loss to Udella, Garcia won only three more bouts in six plus years. He came into that fight with a record of 27-8-3 (6). In the attached .tbdx file, he is rated through May 1978. Apparently Garcia was never the same after the Udella fight.

Thks again David, Just a quick update on my European pack of pre war fighters.
I have finished both the Heavy and Light Heavy divisions and am about to start the Middleweights. So far the pack has 75 files with the two divisions done. Progress has been slow due to me spending more time with my own universe, but I am getting there. rgds Dean |

Progress
Dean,
I am being less systematic than you. I jump around from weight class to weight class to keep from getting bored. So far I've got over 100 European and Commonwealth fighters rated. Perhaps unlike you, I am including boxers who never fought for either title, but are interesting for other reasons. In order to be as comprehensive as possible, I will also include fighters rated by Rocco, Steve, Chris, and Mark. And not to overlap with you, I am including no fighters who participated in a European or Commonwealth title bout prior to 1945--even if they had a title bout after 1945 too.

Thks David, between us we should be able to expand the scope for universes in the time period considerably.
