Gutter Cats playing some much better ball. Slowly upgrading my staff - PP is pretty hard to come by and only one good pack pull and that was gold.

The Cowboys have mixed results so far in Gold. I think we're a whopping 0-7 in Our League play, which we've never really been very good at. On the other hand, we're currently leading our division despite being a hair over .500. Nice to be in a weak division this year.
I have a big chunk of PP unused -- 14k points. Haven't really seen anything I want to buy on the auction house. Any marginal improvement on one of my 25 roster spots would cost an arm and a leg. I have half a mind to buy 14 packs instead, but I'll keep scouring the auction house this week. |

I ended up buying Wade Boggs and Mark Loretta. Boggs is a similar hitter to Bill Madlock at 3B, but Wade can actually play defense!

Amazingly, in spite of their own general incompetence and nincompoopery, the Patriots are still in 1st place in their division at 28-26. Andy Pafko's batting average has tanked to .238, but he leads the team by miles in Home Runs (14) & Runs Batted In (40).
Panic buy Edgardo Alfonzo (87) has settled in nicely as he tries to improve his defensive ability at 3rd base, hitting .333 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. Now if only we could sort out the pitching... Last edited by Magus978; 05-01-2019 at 02:26 AM. |

I'm new at this as you easily can see ... but what exactly do I have to do?
So far I only stated that I would like to take part ... Stanley wrote that he added me, but where? Do I have to add certain guys to my friend list?

Annandale has settled into a comfortable routine of winning one game and then losing the next. Repeat ad infinitum. If I had the PP I'd look to upgrade a starter but as mentioned above, PP are hard to come by! When I open my bonus packs all I get are bronzes and irons. :/

How could we be tearing up Diamond this season?
Don't really understand it, but the Energizer Bunnies are STILL goin' even in Diamond this season --- with a record of 33-21 one-third of the way through the season. When I look at other rosters, I know this cannot continue --- with only 3 diamond players (highest=93), and ten gold players almost everybody else has more diamond players on their roster than I. Last month I played seven games in a home-and-home against a team with 3 perfects, and almost all the rest diamonds, and won five of them.
At any rate, just like last season and the one before it, we are first in BA (.292), OBA, SLG, runs scored, and last in HR in our league. Our pitching could use some help as we are only ninth in the league there. As I said, this can't continue, but it is fun while it lasts!

You think I'm crazy?
No. My two F2P-teams are the Frankenthal Retros (with players pre-1990) and the Frankenthal Brewers (with Brewers players only) The second idea is crazy enough
