use of real NHL players in custom game??

Heyyy all...
I just wanted to make sure that in Fridays release we'll be able to check the "Use real nhl players" box during a custom league. The option is there but it wont let me check it. I was starting a 2017 but it still wont let me click it. It was like that last season and it was never addressed. Not sure why its even there if we cant click on it. Plllllllease make this where we can click it so we can use real NHL players in our custom league, thank you!

You need to select "NHL 2017" as league structure, it does not work with other setups.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh, that really really stinks...

I don't understand why we still cant use the real players for other structures, that makes me super sad

We're going to try to allow it with some other league formats, but it's going to have to be with ones that are fairly close to the NHL in size - it does really weird things to the overall talent pool if the real players are imported to a much bigger or smaller league setup.

Jeff, if you could get this accomplished I would give you a HUGEEE hug lol
Try to do the 36 team league structure :-) That's pretty close to the real world setup, only 6 more teams.... YOU can do it Jeff, I KNOW you can I have so much faith in you!!!! And pssssssst, don't tell anyone Jeff, but you're my favorite on here
