Goals per game

I like to play fictional. Is there a way to increase goals per game? I wish the top scores would get maybe 150 points and not 90 like they do now. I want to play like it is the 1980's.

In custom sandbox you can change goals per game yes, you have to activate Commisioner Mode then under "TEAM + LEAGUE CONTROLS" in column "LEAGUE" you'll see "Edit" Button, as long as you are in the offseason you can click it and there you can change Goals per game, penalties per game, trade frequency and few other things

Goalies got bigger, better and their padding took some industrial strength steroids.

In 1983-1984, Tom Barasso won the Vezina (top goaltender) with an .893 save percentage. Best in the league that year were Melanson (.903 in 37 games) and Smith (.896 in 42 games) for the Islanders.

Last season, Garret Sparks of Toronto put up an .893, which was 76th best in the league.

Teams also learned to play some defense along the way, and expansion diluted the top offensive talent.
