I'm a little new to this game, how do I load this file to start a new game with it?

Thanks guys! I'm debating throwing in an extra "version," and releasing one set with updated pitching and hitting ratings, without touching pitchers' pitches. That set could theoretically be out in one to two weeks, likely. I could then update a third mini-release with corrected ratings for pitches, which is a bit more in-depth to do. Still debating on that.
Looks like hitting ratings are just too high, fielding ratings not fine-tuned enough for my taste, and I'm not sure the pitches have been touched. Those are all things I'd like to get to before we're out with the next release, fielding/hitting is a bit easier to handle than pitching. I'll post a step-by-step on how to install these tomorrow. Why Dustin Ackley is not a Top 10 Prospect Cubby???
He is alredy make a impact playing with the Mariners. And there is players like Kyle Seger, i think should have better potencial |

I'm a big fan of Seager. Ackley will end up being a Top 10 prospect if he isn't already, I haven't touched prospect ratings yet.

Now open OOTP 12 and choose "Load Game" - "CubbyFan MLB 2011" should now be a choice.

Also he needs to be on MLB Roster but the game will just send him back down Ackley.

If you're talking overall (and not just on Seattle's top 10), I don't know why he should be. Before the season BA had him as the #12 and BP had him at 25. Neither are thinking the defense at 2nd will be anything more than adequate, power as 15 HR tops, and he's no longer thought of as a future batting title contender. Reports I've heard basically say .280-.290 average, lots of walks, lots of doubles, some speed, and the occasional HR. Definitely a very good #2 hitter and a damn good prospect, but nobody is saying top prospect anymore.

You don't need to delete him. Just go to the drop down menu in the upper left hand portion of the screen and select "add/edit human manager." From there you can either create a new manager or edit Bud's details.

I wouldn't put him ahead of the top guys in baseball, but I think he belongs in the second tier of great prospects. We'll see where that shakes out in the final set! |

I was wondering why your roster set has arizona with a minor league team in the arizona league? I wiki it...and there only 12 and arizona is the odd team out. Arizona League - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
is there a reason for it? Is it making up for Arizona Dominican Summer League team? Just want to know before I start playing. I have gone through and place logos for the entire minor league and have logos, caps, and jerseys for all MLB teams. EDIT: Never mind I missed the script writing for AZL DBACKS so I get it now. Ignore my message now. Last edited by Syxx34; 07-06-2011 at 01:31 PM. |

Just a quick update: Hoping to have the MLB hitting/fielding ratings finished this weekend and will release an update, and then hope to have pitch ratings and pitching ratings re-done for next week.
Have some family things to take care of Friday, so bear with, but I should be able to knock out enough for a late Sunday release. |
