Yep, It's the Same.
Despite there being no sound, (hint hint) iOOTP has succeeded in frustering me in ways that only the full version has.
Here I am with a 2 run lead in the 8th inning and my bullpen blows it giving up 2. Bottom of the 8th I'm able to get 1 back only to lose it in the following inning from my closer. A few suggestions for in-game play. 1.) When I select a player to substitute, state who I'm substituting for in addition. Ex. "Do you want to insert Player B for Player A?" As it is now, if you fat finger the sub icon you don't know it until the sub has been made. 2.) Add sound. It really does add a lot when playing out games. 3.) Show pitch count on field 4.) Show at-bat count on field I must say that the more I play the more I love this game. Last edited by CD1083; 05-05-2011 at 08:51 PM. |

I agree with all of this, especially the pitch count. The only way I could find it was to go into the box score during the game.

The only thing that has frustrated me a little is when your setting your lineup its hard to see the players ratings or stats Leftys vs Rightys. Its kind of a pain in the butt when your setting your lineup. Also when setting your pitching staff to see who is doing well or any stats. Thats my minor complaint.

That boxscore also justifes all of the effort I've been making to get Andrew Cashner onto my Blue Jay team.
It's only when playing this game that I realize the dirth of sexy talent Toronto has these days. |
