simple question...I was trying to find photos of all the players MLB-AAA for this set and there were several players on the Portland Beavers that I could not find anything for at MiLB.com. Are these players real? ie; Gavin Crews, Ken Sullivan, William carter, George Newman...there are some others but these are just a few in question.

Why are so many of the potential ratings for AAA players in Texas org. at only 20? Guys like Feldman and Rupe are in the majors now and look like quality MLers. Is this an issue with scouting or what's going on here?

Oh and Laird's better than he's rated... much better. He's got possible the best arm in the majors.

IRL a ML quality pitcher can be around a 4.60-5.00 ERA (especially as a starter) but that still lands guys with a 20-21 rating a lot of the time in the game (whereas an average hitter in the game can get a 30-35 rating).

Feldman's a great example, his ratings project a 4.83 ERA as a starter but that only equals a 20 rating (or the same as any other horrible AAA starter out there).

Haven't done that much work on defense besides positions. If anyone knows anywhere to find defensive scouting reports or some sort of stats that could translate well I'd be glad to use them.

No Portland has about 8 pitchers that are not real for some reason.

The newest files put out yesterday by Markus and Andreas in the add-ons section should have that corrected though.

I don´t know that this is fixed, but looking at some AAA teeams doesn´t look good.

Richmond, Salt Lake, Durham, Albuq, Las Vegas, Memphis have less then 10 players on their roster.

The Salt Lake Bees have only 3 players.
This must be wrong ????

Look at the actual roster page not the lineups page, the lineups just aren't filled in.

Are there plans to apply the changes made in this set (Community Version) to the next official release from the OOTP Dev team that is promised for the next patch in mid-July? Just curious...

So I am assuming that asking for the best of both worlds is out of the question? Either I get the roster changes from Markus and Andreas or from Cubby?

I did look in roster (always do) and this is not a problem in your 1.5 version BUT in the newest roster quickstart launched from Markus.

So do stay with the first update, since looking in your teams seams similar in roster fillups.

Really doesn´t like to play Triple A clubs with just 3 players

I´m not sure what is changed in the newest file from Markus. Perhaps only the 40 man roster issue and startup parameters that was wrong. Waivers, DFA, and such things.
Perhaps the odd prospect, but then I´m sure you have already covered that with your added prospects and players in correct minor league teams.

I am so very, very, very sorry, Cubby. Haven't been ignoring/blowing you guys off. Still having a fairly gruesome amount of work. (Hooray for overtime?) Plus, a thunderstorm screwed up the internet. So there's that.

Anyways, I'm afraid I haven't had a chance to work on Spreadward lately. I'll try to put some time in this weekend... I should have some time tomorrow.

All the news so far seems very, very good, Cubby. Are we still going by organization, or have you decided to go by league now?

Question: I am trying to quick sim until 2016 season and take over a team. For some reason it keeps stopping and saying that different teams have more players on their active roster than they should. I then have to take over each team and demote players. It kills the progress. And each team is only showing like 20 players on the 40-man roster? Any advice?

When I first downloaded v1.5 there were players on the ML rosters, but none on the 40 man roster, which is cool cause then you can make up your own 40-man. But, the AI didn't want to make changes so I had to set all computer controlled teams to allow roster changes under the Game Setup menu. Try that and then try simming again.
