Might be a bit hard to implement.

He was probably not talking about the graphic interface.

It would be a mess. The AI still hasn't mastered regular trading.

I have no idea how difficult the coding might be, or even if it were feasible, but what if there was the ability to input a "phantom" player into a trade, a rudimentary placeholder which would be an approximation of the player or prospect you'd be looking to flip from Team A to Team B, in order to gauge Team B's interest and to tell the player if it's even worth pulling the trigger on trade #1.
Just kind of thinking out loud of a way to get closer to the utility of three-team trades without the nightmare of it needing to be coded that way. |

I can't say how easy or hard it would be. It does exist in NBA 2k16 though. I understand that the games are extremely different, etc, but I can't imagine that it couldn't be done.

Maybe Markus should hire a white hat hacker to crack NBA 2K16's game code to see how they do three-way trades and then extrapolate that code in some way into OOTPB. . .

Though I don't know if this is possible, would definitely like the feature.
Trading in OOTP is one of the best parts of the game and good way to fill a need. Even on Very Hard it's fun trying to figure out how many prospects you need to give up in order to get that perfect player. |

It doesn't seem like a difficult feature to add yet it would add so much more to the game.

So, maybe add it as "online-only" feature available only for human menagers.

I don't think it's too complicated. each team would still have to assess who they're giving up vs who they are getting

I think it's definitely worth a shot, but I'd like to see the AI have a better feel for what their team needs are first before it would really work. Right now I see too many trades that make me wonder just what the heck the AI was thinking, and too many times that the AI refuses me a trade that would improve one of their own glaring weaknesses in return for something that would benefit me about as much.

I think he said this was a coding nightmare at one point, or may have even used the word impossible? I just remember Markus or someone else saying this wasn't feasible?
