My project with the announced Ice Hockey Manager

My plan is designing a league network akin to an OOTPBB-based world of mine.

The world is based in cartoons (Americans and also Japanese anime), in North America.

Starting season: 2010-2011.

Leagues:

US and Canada: North American Cartoon Hockey League
Mexico: Torneo Animé Mexicano de Hockey sobre Hielo (English for Mexican Anime (Ice) Hockey Tournament) (is an expansion tourney appealing to Mexican anime fans)

Teams (city and arena in parenthesis):

NACHL (12 teams, the majority are NHL arenas):
Batman (Chicago, United Center)
Disney Wonderland (generic name for the entire Disney Company, Anaheim, Honda Center)
The Flintstones (Phoenix, Jobing.com Arena)
Inspector Gadget (Toronto, Air Canada Centre)
Little Lulu (Denver, Pepsi Center)
Looney Tunes (Los Angeles, Staples Center)
Oggy and the Cocroaches (Montreal, Le Centre Bell)
The Simpsons (Saint Louis, Scottrade Center)
Spiderman (New York, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum)
SpongeBob SquarePants (Miami, BankAtlantic Center)
Superman (New York, Madison Square Garden)
Shrek (Saint Paul, Xcel Energy Center)

Schedule:
Regular season: double round-robin (22 games/matches per team), akin to European team sports, every Saturday, with a special "Hockey Night in America" featuring the most appealing match of every round.
Playoffs: The best four teams play a best-of-3 semifinal round (1v4 and 2v3), with the winners competing in the Liberty Cup Series.

Schedule:
Pool play: Draw of lots of two 4-team groups in a single round robin.
Knockout: The best two teams of both groups plays a kill-or-die semifinals (A1vB2 and B1vA2), with the winners playing the Final Game.

Additional tax:

In both cases, the teams should pay the "Copyright Tax", indeed, the 10% of income should be paid to the copyright holders.
