Keymapping or Hotkeys (request)

I love to play both ootp and ehm on a laptop while watching a tv show or sporting event. It often helps with the pain of watching the leafs for the past 5 years. Because of this i have to use the mouse pad on my laptop which can make these games become far more tedious then they sometimes have to be.

I'm requesting that you give the user the ability to hot key buttons on their keyboard to certain screens. I like how you can add favourites in ootp then press F1, F2, F3 to get to it but i'd also like more control. In EHM it really saves me that i can hit spacebar to advance the day instead of having to move the mouse to 'continue' each and everytime.

I think more and more people are playing these games on laptops then ever before. Please make it easier for us with something like this I know it seems like such a small thing, but these (what seem like) minor things can really help with the enjoyment of a text sim for some people.

Dave, what you need is a wireless mouse with a USB plug. I do the same as you and if I had to use the little mousepad my laptop would have been smashed years ago. BTW, I play when I'm watching the Jays or Canucks. Might as well have some fun during commercials and between innings or between periods.

We can incorporate some hotkeys but, of course, it will always be more comfortable to use a mouse.

i just love with EHM hitting the space key to advance the day. So much easier and less tedious than hitting the button on screen..

I don't tend to have a problem using the trackpad on my Macbook Pro, in fact I became more accustomed to it and think its easy. However, I agree hotkeys would be a good function to have!
