Expanded injuries mod
Injury Log has allowed me to work with him on his injuries.txt file, and we are happy to present it in its final form.
The injuries in this file are a compilation of all the injuries suffered by major league ballplayers in 2007, with accurate durations. Backup your original injuries.txt file, then put this in your OOTP9 data/database folder. Then go to your "Game" menu, go to "Game Setup," then go to the bottom of "Global Setup" where the "Global Database Functions" are, and hit "Re-Import Injury Database." |

Thanks KQ. Injury Log started this project a while back, and once I added a fresh set of eyes, that enabled him to finalize it.

This file roughly triples the variety of injuries.

Of course, thanks to both of you for the diligence and hard work behind the contribition. Is the bolded step above a necessity? I recall using the original IL file without going through the re-import step. Does this action accomplish anything additional?

I believe that the formal within-game importing process is necessary for the modded file to work correctly, but I haven't experimented with trying otherwise.
