Setting Lines

I'm not super familiar with hockey strategy so sometimes I have the assistant set the lines and tactics for me especially early on in the sim. For some reason when I do that on my KHL save I just started all the players are set to screener in every line including defense. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've noticed same thing with my Florida save. When asking AI to setup lines every player gets assigned screener role.

Line selection doesn't change player roles, so if you ask the AI to set your lines before setting any player roles (or use AI setup team to get the AI to assign them all for you), it'll just leave them all on Screener, the default role. I think we'll need to add a new AI help option just to set roles and do nothing else, so you won't need to let the AI shuffle your team round if you only want it to do the roles for the current roster.

That would be terrific. I really want to set the lines as I want to (lock them) and have the AI assign roles. Any chance this feature would be enabled in the next patch/update?

If you select AI setup Organization, the game sets the roles as well.
