Setting Tactics at Unit Level

When settings tactics line by line you can tick the boxes at the foot of the screen to tell your line to be more or less attacking or back-checking or play at tempo or whatever.

There is also another tick box at the upper right of the screen (just below the home team logo) which says "Use Settings". Do you need to have this ticked as well ? What happens if you don't tick this one ?

If you don't tick it, the unit will just use the global settings, even if you've made changes to the tactical settings for that unit.

So that I understand the interplay between Global and Unit tactics..... is it the case that if I set up unit tactics for specific lines (and tick the Use Settings box) then these lines will be governed 100% by those tactics. Any lines that I haven't set explicit unit tactics for will revert to the Global tactics. So, I could have a mixture e.g. I could set all the even strength lines explicit tactics in the "Unit Tactics" settings and leave all the PP and PK lines to default to the Global tactics. Have I got that right ?

PS - thanks for putting up with all my questions
