Fictional League questions

Is the default start date for fictional leagues 2015, or is it possible to start the league in an earlier year?

You can select an earlier year.

What about a later year (say 2115?)

I haven't specifically tested out a "future" league but yes, you can input whatever year you want when creating a custom game.

Another Fictional League question(didn't want to start another question).

Playing Fictional Leagues in the first version of FHM,sometimes(not always) some teams rosters wouldn't fill-up before the regular season and the game would crash. It would happen during the regular season also. Has it then been corrected in the second version? Do rosters automatically(in commish mode) fill-up so there is no need to go through every team and check rosters?

Certain Fictional Leagues that I'm planning on playing, every teams roster will be tinkered with before the season so filling up rosters shouldn't be a problem, but however like I mentioned before,it was a major problem with version one.

We reduced the number of rules to edit to avoid such problems. I don't think we got a tester report during beta with this problem.

What happens if a team doesn't have enough players on their roster to play a game? Example:Prior to the game the NY Rangers(in commish mode) send three players to the minors, however those players were not replaced on the Rangers roster. What happens(since they don't have a full team roster)?

What happens if one team has both their goalies injured and are unable to play. Does the roster(in commish mode) automatically fill the roster with new goalies. The Florida Panthers(in a real game) had that problem late in a game last season.

If you play normal (without Commish mode) the teams will of course maintain correct rosters. We did a lot of testing over the last few months to make sure the game is as stable as possible but in the end it is software and we can't promise it is 100% bug-free. Of course we will fix any bugs asap.

If you start to remove players in Commish mode, the CPU will try to repair the roster (promoting player, signing FA, Tryoutplayer) but depending on the changes you do, it might not be possible (and result in a crash. But to be honest, I see no reason to remove player via commish mode, why would you do it?

It's possible to send players to the minors and forget to replace them. I do it all the time in OOTP but its not a big deal in baseball because the rosters are larger(unless I just traded away their only catcher and forgot to replace him) but hockey teams would be at a disadvantage.

I'm going to be playing OOTP and FHM at the same time so I am bound to make some roster errors.
