How far back does other leagues go?

So, the NHL it seems will be back to 1931. How long is it for other leagues?

Historical mode is only for NHL/WHA. Fictional leagues can start at any date.

With commissioner mode on you can edit players in any way you want.

Is there a way to edit player career data, such as their point totals in previous years (whether played or not)? If there isn't, is it possible to have some explanation as to how to manually edit this data?

Currently you can edit their names, height, weight, birthplace, nationality, position, attributes, contracts, move them to other teams but not their playing history/totals.
