Importing historical teams

I am new to the game and I want to know if it is possible to up leagues with teams from different years,ie..(27 Yankees,53 dodgers,46 Cardinals)different teams and years from the past.Is it possible to set up a league like this.

From the Main Menu choose New Custom Game. Then select Create Fictional League. In Step 1, decide how many teams you want to include in the league. Then in Step 2, click on Switch to Historical Team Selection. From then on, you're good to go.

No. It's a new feature this year.

It can be done in OOTP14 but it takes more effort. The OOTP14 manual has instructions that should be of some help.

Thanks. I'm comfortable using the manual, but I couldn't find it. I'll eventually upgrade to 15, anyway.

Thanks for the insight pstrickert! A question if using random debut: once you have created your league of historical teams, do the players on those teams get deleted from ensuing drafts?

I am trying to do this but under fictional league there is no setting in step 2 or past to "switch to Historical team selection". Using version 15.

The same player will not appear twice in the league, if that's what you mean.
