Markus will not do any work on the hockey project!

As the iOOTP programmer I'm really sorry that Markus had to help out more then expected and that impacted the work on OOTP12. I guess I have no chance to make up for it unless I can get my time machine working, go back in time and clone Markus. So, back to work ...

Though I think the hockey sim is a great idea and am looking forward to it, this is my concern as well.

Considering they now have 4 vs 2 before Sebastian came on board for iOOTP, the numbers seem to add up. I'm not gonna sweat every minor glitch that may happen. Diversification is the lifeblood of any business. Having 3 products to sell is better for OOTPD. That should translate into a more stable future for the flagship product and it's customers.

although i don't like iootp (mainly because i don't have a ipad) but if you look at the bigger picture it only grows OOTP franchise althougher.

Sure you saw a slight delay for the release but the bigger picture i'd say will show more people purchasing the ootp game, which potentially means more staff and will lead to more features for each release. That goes for this as well. Many hockey only people will (hopefully) fall in love with this game then wonder over to ootpb and purchase it because it will be an easy game to get into - that is why them making the interfaces as similar as possible will only help everyone.
