Usually fill low minors with fictional players.

I thoroughly enjoy pouring over minor league free agents to pick guys for my teams. Takes forever, but I think that sort of minutiae is exactly what OOTP is about.

The only thing that sucks, though, (and I just made a post about this) is that sometimes the AI will sign a free agent elsewhere even though you offer them a signing bonus. Or a player will sign with an indy league team or an international league team instead of the affiliated minors. Very frustrating.

I usually do this but this time I filled the lower levels with fictional players.

I only add AAA and rookie ball in year one which means the expansion draft should cover most of the AAA roster then FA signings aged between 18-22 will fill the rookie ball roster Then add A ball and AA in subsequent years
