The latest member of the 2000 hit club is Mike Hughes. He is having a heck of a season this year.
I resigned CL Pablo Escalante to a long term deal. This shores up the CL position for long time. I am gonna have other issues in my pen with MR Zutton retiring and 2 other FA's.
I signed Of Pablo Villareal for the year. He can play all 3 OF spots has some pop. Doesn't BB much and does strike out a ton. Danny Dorn and Ethan Henry dont hit vs RHP so Villareal will help with that. He will sit vs LHP for now as both Dorn and Henry can hit LHP.
Chevy lost Willie Nigue. Big blow for them but they are already 4.5 GB Corvair.

Interesting so far. The Al West is the AL Worst. NL East is very close. We are 5 games over .500 but still not in it. Only 1 All Star, injured RF Jacoby Ellsbury.

2015 will be another expansion year and the final 4 teams have been announced at the All Star Game in Langston, Highland.
The domed city of Atlantis will play in the AL East and will be called the Sharks. Atlantis is owned by King Zeus who previously owned the Trout Swampmen 2004-2008. They will play in Octopus Garden modeled after Wrigley Field. Ray Sharke Sr. will be the teams GM. The Manager has yet to be announced. Speculation has it that FA's to be Ray Sharke Jr, Kevie Oko, Julio Granger & Don Mater will sign with Atlantis.
Springfield Isotopes will play in the AL West. They are owned by Montgomery Burns, owner of the Springfield Nucler power plant. No GM or M Lake Venus Gamblers will play in the NL West, owned by King Cindaar. they will play in King Cindaar Park modeled after Dodger Stadium. Former C Charlie O' Brien has been named mgr while no GM has been named yet.
The 4th expansion team is the Anderson Indians. The Indians are owned by Kent Clark and will play in Anderson stadium, modeled after Cleveland Stadium. Michael Geistfield has been named GM & Mgr. Anderson will also be in the AL east after teh ford Thunderbirds sale is finalized.
The Ford Thunderbirds are expected to be sold to hero of the Rebellion the mighty Chewbacca and his family. Chewbacca will relocate the team to Pine Tree and will be called the Wookies. Pine Tree will play in the NL East. The Wookies will play in Chewbacca Field, modeled after the Polo Grounds.

Middleton Tigers are in the playoffs so no call ups as of this time. SP John Williams will be back in 2 days but will pitch out of the pen most likely.

Dwayne Edwards, C, Chevy was injured. Broken finger, this was a predetermined injury. He will miss the rest of the regular season.
Dave Alfsen, 1B Brandywine also will miss the rest of the regular season also with a broken finger.
The 2 *** will be featured in the future.

I don't get signing a 1B when you are out of playoff contention when you already have an all star 1B. Cummings may help Corvair.
