Goalie saves 46 shots, shutout but not one of 3 game stars
Macleod, a goalie, saved 46 shots in the game, gets a shutout but is not named one of the 3 stars for the game.
Who is choosing the 3 stars for the game? By what criteria? Why wasn't he named one of the 3 stars? He did let in one of the Shootout shots but only one. Maybe because his team lost? Last edited by GMO123; 11-13-2019 at 08:00 PM. |

Yeah, that goalie was robbed. Should have got at least one of the three stars instead of the Sen that did.

Something's not right there. I'm wondering if the OT loss, or just OT in general, is doing something odd to the way the game is evaluating 3-star candidates, we'll check that.

Reminds me of all the times my goalie has made 30+ saves in wins where he only allowed one goal, and still came out of the game ice cold. Wish I could remotely understand how goalies get hot/cold. Seems like I can get my backup hot with a 20ish save meh game, but my 2 time Vezina winning starter can't BUY even one heat level when he stands on his head.
