far at 10-0 and looking for his 3rd consecutive Triple Crown. Pirate Al Simmons needs 9 more hits for 3500. Red Sox Jimmie Foxx is closing in on 450 Home Runs at 441 while
Pirate Lou Gehrig needs 10 for 500.
