Champions League with multiple leagues winners/top teams
Is there a way to setup a champions league format where top so many teams from different leagues go to a final tournament? I am thinking of doing a European Baseball World that mirrors more the soccer setup. This looks like it may not be possible... Thanks for your help

If you set up a League Association, you have the option of an Association Playoff. Custom Playoffs will let you choose what place finishers in each league make the final playoff an if you want to do round robin in the first round or two (like UEFA champions league does) or set it up as a straight tourney.

I do this via having another tournament added that starts after the season. It might be possible to do it during the season like soccer but that would be tough with scheduling, etc, and I suspect teams wouldn't "know" they had games on weekend vs middle of season.
anyway I have a tournament called Champions League and simply add in teams who finish top 4 every year. this way it keeps track of stats for Champions League and history in a way that association playoffs do not. associations don't really work |
