2019 New York Mets-I'll probably make them worst

This is the first time I've ever done this. I'm sure this will be terrible.

But the Mets.

Maybe I, me, can finally make them better, (or worse more likely.)

I'll update with "monthly" updates.

It's opening day and I've already made some moves:

I DFA'd Keon Broxton. I didn't think we needed 3 RF.

To replace him I called up Pete Alonso. He will start at 1B.

I claimed Marcus Estrada off waivers. He's a veteran who I really like and thought he would be a good add to our roster. To make room for him I optioned Mickey Jannis.

It's the end of April and...

we're somehow 19-8, 3 games up on the Nationals.

Jacob Degrom was our best pitcher, he went 4-0 with a 2.11 ERA.

Noah Syndergaard was also very good at 3-1 with a 2.51 ERA.

Our bullpen has been great, 1st in the NL.

On the other side of things, Michael Conforto leads our team in BA, .333, while also hitting 7 HR, and 20 RBI.

Brandon Nimmo has also been very good, he leads our team in HR, 8 and RBI's, 24.

On the bad side, Pete Alonso has hit .196, but does have 5 HR and 14 RBI.

We also suffered our first injury, Seth Lugo went down with "Forearm Stiffness." We called up Arquimedes Caminero to replace him.

Both Todd Frazier and Travis D'Arnaud returned from injuries. I DFA'd Rene Rivera and Adeiny Hechavarria.

End of May and...

We are still doing very well at 37-20, 5.5 games up on the Phillies

Jacob Degrom is still our best pitcher at 6-1 with a 2.05 ERA.

Both Zach Wheeler and Noah Syndergaard have been good, both have 4 wins and both have 3.01 ERA.

Our bullpen is still the best.

I made the first big move trading Robinson Cano for Asdrubal Cabrera and Nick Gordon.

Wilson Ramos, our Catcher, has struggled and I am looking to trade him.

End of June and...

We 54-31, still 5 up on the Nationals.

It was a very eventful month.

First we traded a struggling Wilson Ramos to the Twins for unknown star Willians Astudillo. He could be good.

We traded Jed Lowrie, and prospects to the Red Sox for Rusney Castillo, and Michael Chavis.

I wanted rid of Lowrie and thought that Chavis could develop in the future.

I wanted to switch something up at 3B so I traded Jeff McNeil for Yoan Moncada.

Then "disaster struck," we lost recently acquired Asdrubal Cabrera to broken hand for 2 months. We called up Luis Guillorme to replace him.

Then I decided to trade Zack Wheeler and Carlos Gomez to the Brewers for Lorenzo Cain and prospects.

The deal doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But it means we call up Chris Flexan on a temporary basis and are looking for another starter.

Also, THE DRAFT!

R:1(12) Tyler Osik
R:2(12) Danny Crews
R:3(11) Tyler Demartino
R:4(11) Jasiah Dixon

There was more but I'm too lazy to write it.
