North/South Korean League

The News is out!
Kim Jung Il has come to an agreement with the Korean Baseball Organization to form a Unified North and South Korean League. Its
seems that the long time oppressor of western ways has had secret weapons hidden away for years, and now it is your time to step up
and choose sides. His only wish was that his talented stars should not play with any outside players, so only North and South Koreans
will be in the ranks of your lineups, and many new features will be put into action, in order to excite Western GMs to fill up the
open positions. This is a 16 team fictional league that offers a unique playoff system in which the top four teams from each of
the four divisions to have a chance to win the Koreas Series. The Draft will take place on the 31st of December every year and will have
6 rounds. A preseason Champions Tournament will also be held in the place of a preseason where each team will be given a chance to make up for a poor season from the previous year.

The UKL is a writing league however; you do not have to write if you do not feel the need to. However, the ASPN staff is low on writers and for every article you turn in to the local press; you will receive money to purchase different features for your park, or to buy your next superstar. On one hand, those who do not write will basically run their teams as they are, but on the other hand, every article counts towards cash for your team. You make the choice and have fun!

Financials are set to 1871 rates. Every club will begin the game with $.05 ticket prices and $10,000 media contracts which will last for 3 years. There will be no salary cap and no revenue sharing. The fan interest will be set at 50 with all finicals set equally. The typical star salaries have also been toned down a bit, in order to allow a bit of maneuverability during the infancy of the league. Later, this feature might be changed to fit the standards of the league. However, ticket prices and media contracts can be improved through managerial incentives which will be purchased through the use of Participation points.

Minor League Champions Bonus:
If your minor league system is properly maintained, you should see a great increase in top quality players. In this case, you minor league teams will start to win. Each season, a total of $1million will be given to the franchise which has the three level champions.
AAA Champs: $500
AA Champs: $400
A Champs: $300
