What will be your first season expansion teams?
This should be available shortly(or something).
I just approved Seattle Totems and Portland Bucaroos for the NHL and Las Vegas Dealers and Reno Rockets were approved for the AHL and Oakland Stampeders and Tucson Gunners were approved for the ECHL. |

I added two. The Downingtown Muckdogs, my hometown and I've always liked that name, and the Richmond Spyders. Just really want to get my feet wet with the game, and am having a blast. Enjoyed the expansion draft, and mostly signed younger players that appear to have good potential.
Getting "lumped up" in my first season. Through Feb. 5th, last in the Atlantic Division with 33 points, but doing better than Richmond at a pathetic 22 points. I also reduced the salary floor to 25k and am just slightly above that with Downingtown. Here, just like in OOTP baseball, I like taking over expansion teams, and see how successful I can be with a very low payroll. Anybody(with the exception of Ruben Amaro Jr.), can be smart when they have a ton of money to spend. |

The NHL expended in 2016-2017. The Seattle Gladiators and the Kansas City Wolves joined the league. I am running the Gladiators and we were eliminated in 2nd playoff round by Anaheim while Kansas City finished last in the league.
And then in 2017-2018, the Quebec Nordiques and the Las Vegas Aces joined. The season is about to start but Quebec might be a very good team after signing Corey Perry, Patrick Kane and Shea Weber during summer. They also drafted Malcom Subban from Seattle. There will be another expension next year. Probably Boise and Hamilton. |

Looks like the fans wants Seattle more than that ownership.....Should be interesting what the NHL decides on. Wild card to factor in is Arizona...Glendale wants them back......

Seattle and Las Vegas for expansion.
Florida moves to Quebec and become the Nordiques. Add Vegas to the Central, Seattle to Pacific and no division realignment needed |
