Booted up PT for the first time today and saw I had 1570 points. Figured what the heck, lets buy a pack. Well sometimes you just get very lucky...

I just can't believe it was from a standard pack, my jaw dropped when I saw the diamond pull out.

Here I am happy that I pulled a Sad Sam with one of my early packs, which funded most of the packs/auction house of my team since then. I still can't imagine pulling a card worth that much...

Honus Wagner's 1908 is one of the most (if not the most) dominant season that a player has ever had vs. his own league. I'm so jealous!

I actually got 2 golds from one standard pack; I think it was Price and Carrasco but I've been pretty lucky so far so I can't quite recall which two. I did throw like 10 bucks in to buy some standard packs but I'd say I've still lucked out a bit with 3 gold starting pitchers, an entirely gold starting outfield, a gold closer, and a gold Mike Piazza, plus a 99 Machado.

lol, I just got home and had enough for another pack and pulled A.J. Minter (87).

I misspoke on the outfield though, left fielder is a 1966 Jim Ray Hart (79).

Congrats,that is one card I am hoping to get eventually.

I spent 50 bucks on launch day and landed a 100 Jackie Robinson. Sold it for 290ishk. Got a 100 Pedro Martinez after and I have to tell you the team they have helped me get was well worth those sales.
