Just started the 2024 season. We'll be moving to OOTP 20 in the offseason. Still have some open spaces for those interested.

This is proven by the constant turnover they have, which is far more than any of the other 4 leagues I'm in. I thought this sort of childish behavior was what to expect when I first joined but realized after a couple of seasons that it is confined to a few toxic leagues. Unfortunately, those tend to be the same leagues that are always recruiting. Additionally, the commissioner runs multiple teams "for the good of the league" but those of us that are experienced at OOTP know what advantages he is getting from that.

If you want a solid league DM me and I will recommend 3 of the 4 I currently play in. Hopefully that will help you so that you don't have to bounce around feeling out all the worst ones just to find one good one.
This is all categorically untrue. As with most if not all OOTP leagues, there is some turnover. Thats the nature of the beast when it comes to online leagues.

This post was from a former GM who was removed because they would constantly pick fights in Slack. He, from the moment he joined, tried to tell us how to run the league instead of adjusting to the way the league was designed. If your intentions are to join a new league and then try and change the way it operates because thats how you prefer OOTP, then please do not join. If you're looking for an active league with an active slack chat, by all means hit us up.

As far as the cheating allegations go, that is laughable at best and not even worth a response.

Yeah this is all a bunch of nonsense.

I joined this league, after finding it on these same boards, directly before this poster joined. I've had basically the complete opposite experience than he claims to have had. It's a well run league with a good active core owner group that knows their stuff. The rules and design of the league are laid out, pretty straightforward.

This poster was impossible to deal with as a fellow GM, and downright rude. The commish was right to kick him the heck out.

Jockbrockers is the single most "toxic" person I've ever met in a league and I've been doing online leagues for about 6 years. He clashed with almost every person in the league and even threatened violence against some of the members. Then, after getting removed from the league, he feels the need to come and try to post negative and false things about the league to try and prevent other people from joining. If this is the type of person you'd like to be in a league with, then I fully support you contacting him to join one of the 3 or 4 he's in at the moment.

However, if you'd like to join a fun and competitive fictional league, then you should totally check out FCBL and join our league.

Let's see. 1: You bashed everyone who tried to help you at any point in the league.

2: You said you wanted a member of the league to shoot himself in the head twice.

3: You somehow thought it was a good idea to rip a guy you drafted, saying he shouldn't have been picked above late 1st round, then proceeded to post said player ON THE SAME DAY in the trade block asking for 2 1st round picks and a 2nd. Then someone called you out on how illogical that was and you flipped out on them for just questioning the logic behind it.

Yeah, there was ONE toxic person in the league. It was you. Sorry you had a guy you drafted #2 overall lose 10 control. That's OOTP, not a commissioner changing your players.

This former GM is the definition of toxic. He joined & was impossible to deal with, had unrealistic expectations, and was rude & hostile from the get-go. To accuse the commish of cheating is simply preposterous -- it is untrue and irresponsible to post.

That said, FCBL is a great league with a lot of dedicated GMs. If you are looking for a competitive league with active participation, feel free to join us!

Lets just end this and move on, from those who have come out in support of the league they are obviously having a good experience and you were just not a fit. No need to take things to this level.
