Buying past seasons

It was my understanding that we can buy past seasons for iOOTP.

Went to the iphone site with OOTP and can't find individual seasons anywhere.

Wondering if you can get the 59 season and how you go about looking at any available seasons in the store.

Any help is appreciated.

Start the game on your device (iPhone, iPod or iPad). On the start screen select "Buy Seasons" and select the year (or bundle) you want to buy.

Let me know if you need more help!

Thank you Sebastian.

I'll grab some seasons this evening. Mercy...it's right there on the beginning screen.
Old age gets on my nerves. Unreal.

Got the 59 season. Now let's see how Nellie and Aparicio do on iOOTP!

iOOTP with pitch by pitch is superb.

How much are the individual seasons and season bundles for iOOTP12? I'm sure it's just my error, but I haven't been able to find that anywhere in the program.

Thanks,
Ed

$0.99 per season. Or a bundle (of 10?) for $4.99.

I'm hoping that a future update will allow us to use real lineups and transactions. What do you think, palli?

I just simmed the '59 season with injuries and trades off. The White Sox won the AL, while the Braves edged out the Dodgers in the NL. The '59 season is tricky in replays. The Dodgers had a little luck in real life. And (in real life) the White Sox had a remarkable record in 1-run games.

Well drat. Tried to buy the 1901 season, just got a screen telling me to wait and that the in-app purchase was in progress, and nothing happened. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.

Good thing I'm knee deep managing the Cubs in 1969.

By any chance: is your device jailbroken? We had testers with the same problem and it seems that Apple blocks jailbroken devices from In-App purchases. Maybe people with jailbroken devices can share their experience?

While waiting for Apple to process the update we made a "small" change to the historical part of the game. You will not see a difference but believe me, it opens up a lot of possibilities for the future of this part.

Make sure you are online when you try to buy a season or bundle.

Hmm. Pretty sure I've been. The first time, it was the 3G connection, and that didn't work, so I thought maybe it needed a Wi-Fi connection. Tried that yesterday, no dice.

I'll try again today.

I hit 'thanks' instead of quote. : ) Anyway sorry to have taken up your time with trivia...but then...1959 trivia is special.

Thanks for all your help through the years!
