This 1880 cabinet photo of Joe Neale is from the net54baseball.com website. The tip on finding this photo came from Tom Hufford, one of the founding members of SABR.

Just to let you know that your request wasn't ignored, I checked the Missouri papers on newspaper.com for all these guys, but found no photos of them in a Cardinals uniform. They were all with the Cards for extremely brief stints.

I've looked elsewhere, as well. They are all listed on the Pegasus UIN list, which means that no Cardinals image has been located even after more than a decade of looking by several members of this forum. Tough player/team combination, indeed.
