That one dang card! Who's yours?
We all have one. That one card that you pull over and over again. It's Snuffy Stirnweiss for me. Who's that one dang card you just can't escape?

Hooooo boy
I am not quick-selling live series duplicates as I am choosing to "invest" in their performance rather than take the tiny amount of PP. I also want to see what the collections missions will be, as the duplicates could become more valuable that way.
Sooooo, I currently have... 18 x Martin Prado 17 X Jose Briceno 16 X Aramis Garcia 14 X Tyler Saladino 14 X Tomas Nido 13 X Nick Ciuffo 12 X Mikie Mahtook 12 X Ichiro (Live) 11 X Alen Hanson And there's more, but those are the ones seared into my eyeballs |

Wow, you get those off the auction house or a million packs? I'm at a disadvantage. I know alot about baseball history but I quit watching baseball after the 1994 debacle so I really don't have a firm foundation for speculating. I do have the 2019 Bill James baseball book and do plan to follow the sport for the first time in over 25 years. |

Packs on Packs on Packs
Trying to build the biggest card collection possible for the reveal of the collection missions. I will not be one of the people doing AH "speculation", no time between work and school, but the Iron duplicates are basically worthless now so I figure I might as well wait and see if their value increases.
I AM taking some time trolling the AH for bargains on low-level historicals, continuing to build my card collection, as the price of some of these cards will sky-rocket once they are determined to have value for a collection mission. Again, I am not trying to flip, but rather just spreading a wide base so I don't get gouged later. |

I actually really like this idea. Just smart prep for whatever is to come. I've been selling live cards but keeping any other types for the same reason.

Yea, I'm keeping everything but duplicates for the most part...selling a couple of golds I know don't fit in with my team.
If I knew who might be good I'd probably keep the duplicates. |

I think I've gotten 8 Dominic Smiths out of about 15 packs.

Raffy Lopez. About seven or eight of the buggers between my two teams.

Marx Thronberry. Think I'm gonna start saving them until I can afford to trade for a Furillo.

I am turning into an auction house junkie so I'm not sure. I'm thinking I might open up just like one pack a month.

I'm going the opposite direction in 20. Trying to go off of pack openings only. Not sure how I'll fare though

Going to need tons of cards for collections and tournaments, so it's easier to do it with packs. |

This
Packs have helped me build a huge card base for tourneys/collections. I have ~ 1400 unique cards at this point, including 826 of the 1007 Lives. Now I am using the AH to fill in the cracks with the sub-gold live players I am missing and interesting silvers for potential lower level tournaments. AH will always be the go-to for targeted positional upgrades. |
