Skip Managing? Airplane play?

Looking at purchasing OOTP, but I can't find these answers anywhere. I apologize in advance if I missed them. I currently play The Show on console and enjoy the Sim more than gameplay.

1. I enjoy the GM role, and would prefer to skip managing. Can I sim large blocks of games ( say 30 games in a row) or do I have to manage each game?

2. Do I need to be connected to the internet to play? Most of my game time will be airplanes.

Can totally sim many games without managing! You don’t have to manage any individual games if you don’t want!

Also do not need to be online!

You can sim 100 years and not be in control of anything if you like. The game gives a pretty wide range of control options.

You should be sure to say no when asked about playing league in Challenge Mode. In that mode, you can only sim a week at a time during the season.

I believe you also need to be online for Challenge Mode. (Not sure.)

managers office thereabouts -> manager options / settings [sic]

set interuptions and delegate responsibilities, accordingly. you may want 'no news except ....' and to not be interupted by injuries etc etc... whatever is there, it's worth a read over.

You don't need to be online to play, but you do need to be online for your achievements to count.

There's a screenshot of what you can change to put your manager, assistant GM, or minor league GMs to be in control of.

Even in online leagues with other GMs you don't really need to be online that much, just connecting to download the new file and exporting your updates, otherwise the game is mostly offline
